Timeline
• 15:45 - Wedding Ceremony Rotterdam Stadhuis in the Burgerzaal:
Enter at the front of city hall, go to the front desk, and someone from city hall will direct you upstairs to the Burgerzaal. Take your seat.
• 16:00 - Ceremony starts
• 17:00 - Pictures with guests and family in the Burgerzaal, on the steps and in the courtyard
• 17:30 - Break time - nothing planned
• 19:20 - 19:30 - Wedding Celebration at Parquit - Walk through the park to Parquit. If it is not raining, wait outside on the terrace; the ceremony will be outside if dry. Hilbrandt will instruct you where to go.
• 19:40 - Handfasting ceremony - Ailisha & Ede will do a handfasting ceremony (traditional wedding ceremony) under the tree or indoors if it’s raining.
• 20:00 - Champagne moment
• 20:15 - Dinner Buffet
• 20:45 - Speeches by Murtah, Simon & Jo
• 21:00 - Dessert Buffet
• 21:30 - Speeches by Luis, Hilbrandt & Judith
• 22:00 - Music & Drinks
• 00:00 - Goodbye

Gifts
After many requests for us to offer information about gifts, we gave it some thought. We would either like a personal gift or a contribution to a honeymoon or a trip. If this is something you would like to do, an envelope would most likely be the best option. Please note that we do not expect or need gifts; this is only for those who would like to bring something.
What to expect
Our wedding will be an intimate, informal autumn ceremony and celebration with max 60 guests. A celebration of love with those we love.
Mood
Warm, bohemian autumn and wild flowers. Wear something that makes you feel special. Reminder: please bring extra coats and warm attire, as it could get chilly toward the evening, as we will be using both indoor and outdoor spaces if the weather allows.
Accommodation
For those travelling from abroad to join us, here are a few nice places to stay in Rotterdam. As the wedding is mostly in the centre & west neighbourhoods of Rotterdam, we recommend staying in this area. This is a very nice area that is also well-connected to public transport and walking-friendly.

Hotel Unplugged - Central, Modern, Self-check-in, well priced
The Bellhop - Central, the nightlife centre, Modern, well priced
Ani Haakien - Central, Cosy Hostel, Private rooms, very affordable

Travel
When travelling to the Netherlands from England or Ireland, there are two major options. Train or flight. You can either take the Eurostar from London St Pancras straight to Rotterdam Central station in 4.5 hours, or fly into Schiphol (also listed as Amsterdam). Upon arrival, you can catch the 25-minute fast train (intercity direct) from Schiphol to Rotterdam Central Station. This connection is excellent, frequent and affordable.
In Rotterdam, there is a lot of pubic transportation, mainly trams and metros to get around. Though the city is very accessible on foot, and these days, there are no particular locations you want to avoid. If you have any questions, let one of us know.
